4 signs you might be pregnant

Pregnancy can be daunting at any stage in life, planned or otherwise. So it’s important you look out for the signs you might be expecting as soon as possible.
Here are 4 of the earliest signs you should look out for if you think could have a little one on the way:
1. Tender breasts
During the first trimester of pregnancy, there is an increase in the volume of blood in the body in order to meet the needs of a developing fetus. This might cause an increase in breast size leading to tenderness in your chest area, which will usually continue throughout pregnancy.
2. Frequent Urination
As the uterus increases in size during pregnancy, the urinary bladder grows smaller leading to more frequent trips to the toilet whilst pregnant.
3.  Vomiting and Nausea
Common in the first trimester, many pregnant experience vomiting and feelings of nausea, also known as morning sickness. For some women, the feelings are severe, known as 'hyperemesis gravidarum', which can often need hospital treatment.
4. Tiredness and Fatigue
During pregnancy, your body produces more blood in order to carry nutrients to your developing baby, meaning a decrease in blood pressure and sugar levels. The hormonal changes during this time often cause fatigue and tiredness, commonly experienced by pregnant women.

It's during this time that many women experience issues with aches and pains and insomnia whilst trying to sleep. Our 100% Organic Sleepy Lotion is the ideal remedy for any ladies experience sleep issues whilst pregnant.

Please note - you should always take a pregnancy test and consult a doctor if you think you might be pregnant.
